Calm in the Storm: Tools to Keep Your Cool in the Corona Crisis CLE*
If your organization or firm would like to offer this training, please contact me for scheduling information.
As our world navigates the COVID-19 pandemic, we are collectively venturing into uncharted territory, both personally and professionally. The uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus heightens mental and emotional stress for a profession already steeped in pressure and a propensity to predict and plan for the worst. In these unprecedented times, our profession needs new tools to help us stay resilient and support our mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. This virtual CLE educates participants on the neurobiology of stress--particularly the increased stress our profession is experiencing during this international pandemic--and how stress in a crisis impacts the practice of law. The webinar will also include five practical tools that participants can immediately put to use to build resilience to stress at this time, thereby increasing cognitive functioning and ability to maintain professionalism and ethical duties to clients during the COVID-19 pandemic.
*CLE credit: This program is approved for one hour of "live" mental health/substance abuse credit (or ethics or general CLE credit if you already have your MH/SA credit) by the NC State Bar.
